Arnold Licensed Nodes — every node
Arnold licenses are covered on every CPU render node we operate. We are not a Solid Angle partner — these are licensed nodes we operate, you render with our licenses, no MtoA license setup on your side.
Render Arnold across 20,000+ CPU cores and our dedicated GPU fleet. Arnold installed on every render node — since 2017.
Typical animation: $8–$55.

All render licenses are bundled — V-Ray, Corona, Arnold, Redshift, Octane, Cycles, plus all DCC apps. No license servers, no Multi-User Licenses, no per-seat fees. Render with our licenses.

Override, switch, and set-parameter operators propagate per-frame as authored. OSL shaders compile on each node. .ass standins ingest cleanly; we don't re-tessellate.
Same Arnold pool serves whichever DCC you launch from. AOV stack, ray depth, sampling settings, and ramp-up overrides all travel with your scene file.
Standard tier. Light bucket + adaptive sampling jobs scale efficiently — you typically pay for what the renderer was actually computing, not for idle bucket finishers.
Most submitted scenes have at least one issue our pre-render validation catches — broken external references, missing textures, bad output paths, or camera configuration errors. We surface these before render starts, so you don't pay for failed frames. For DCC plugin submissions (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, C4D), validation runs locally before upload. For web-submitted scenes, it runs on our side before the job enters the render queue.
Every texture, proxy, and reference is verified reachable on the render node before the first sample fires.
Resolution, frame range, output path, and AOV stack are confirmed against your scene file — no surprise empty MultiPart EXR.
Engine licenses are confirmed on the assigned node before credits deduct. V-Ray, Redshift, Corona, Octane, Arnold all check pass / fail visibly.
Renderer version, plug-in versions, and required add-ons are matched against the node's installed stack. Mismatch → swap-to-compatible-node, not an error.

“I use Maya and Arnold. Other similar services require you to have a Multi User License for Arnold, but this one doesn't. 3DCG data has a complex hierarchical structure, but with the application and plug-ins you can upload all that data together in two clicks. The rendering speed is very fast!”

Forest Pack + RailClone are pre-installed and license-covered (carry-forward from Brief #9; iToo partner verification pending).

Pre-render validation flags asset paths, camera output, license reachability, scene-version compatibility before credits start.

No. Arnold licenses are included on every CPU and GPU render node we operate. You submit your Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema 4D scene file and we handle all licensing on our infrastructure — there is nothing to install, transfer, or configure on your end.
We support Arnold 7.x across all current host applications. Our compatibility matrix covers Maya 2018–2026, 3ds Max 2018–2026, and Cinema 4D R20–2025 with the corresponding MtoA, MAXtoA, and C4DtoA plugin versions. If your exact version is not listed, contact our support team — we typically resolve version additions within a few business days.
Super Renders Farm supports Arnold with Maya (MtoA), 3ds Max (MAXtoA), Cinema 4D (C4DtoA), Houdini (HtoA), and Katana (KtoA). All host applications and their corresponding Arnold plugin versions are pre-installed and configured on our render nodes.
Yes. Arnold GPU rendering (OptiX-based) is available on our NVIDIA RTX 5090 nodes with 32 GB GDDR7 VRAM. Arnold GPU has been production-ready since version 6, and Arnold 7.2+ supports out-of-core rendering — scenes that exceed VRAM are automatically paged using system RAM, which helps with large texture sets and dense geometry. GPU rendering typically runs 3–5× faster than a similarly-priced CPU configuration for most production scenes.
GPU rendering is faster and lower-cost for most scenes — product visualization and architectural rendering with clean lighting achieve 5–8× GPU speedups over CPU. Volumetric-heavy scenes (smoke, atmosphere, volume shaders) typically see 2–3× GPU speedup, which is still faster but less dramatic. If your scene uses features not yet available in Arnold GPU mode (some procedural patterns, certain AOV configurations), CPU rendering remains the reliable fallback. Our job submission tool lets you select CPU or GPU per job.
Yes. Multi-layer EXR with AOV passes (RGBA, diffuse, specular, depth, cryptomatte, and custom AOVs) are fully supported. Deep EXR output is also available for compositing workflows that require depth information. All AOV configurations in your scene file are preserved during rendering — no post-processing steps are needed from you.
For cloud rendering, we recommend keeping your Camera (AA) samples at 4–8 for typical production work. Higher AA values increase render time proportionally, so tune locally at a lower sample count first, then increase on the farm for final output. Arnold's adaptive sampling can reduce render time by up to 40% on scenes with flat surfaces — enable it via Render Settings > Sampling > Adaptive Sampling when your scene permits. If noise is a concern, NVIDIA OptiX AI denoising or Intel Open Image Denoise are available on our GPU nodes at no extra cost.
CPU rendering (Arnold CPU) starts at $0.004 per GHz-hour. GPU rendering (Arnold GPU) starts at $0.003 per OctaneBench-hour, which typically makes GPU the lower-cost option for most scenes. New accounts receive $25 in free trial credits so you can test with a real scene before committing. See our render farm pricing guide for a full cost breakdown.
