Payment methods, invoices, and receipts
Payment methods, invoices, and receipts
Super Renders Farm runs on a simple top-up model: you buy render credit in USD, and each job draws down that balance as it actually renders. There's no subscription and no recurring charge to track. This page covers how a top-up is processed, which payment methods you can use, how the automatic volume discount works, where to find your invoices and receipts, and what does (and doesn't) happen with tax.
Looking into a refund or a re-render instead? This page is about paying for credit and documenting that payment, not about compensation for a failed job — see refunds and re-renders for that.
How paying works
Render credit is the only currency on the farm: you top up a balance, and each job deducts credit as it actually renders — nothing is billed as a flat monthly fee. Every top-up is priced and charged in USD, processed through Braintree, our payment gateway. If your card or bank account is denominated in another currency, your own issuing bank converts the USD charge at its prevailing exchange rate — Super Renders Farm doesn't set or see that conversion, so the amount on your statement can vary slightly from the USD price shown at checkout.
Credit you buy never expires, and neither does the $25 free trial credit every new account starts with — there's no "use it or lose it" window. There's no subscription and no plan tiers on your render rate either: every account renders at the same $/GHz-hour (CPU) or $/OctaneBench-hour (GPU) rate. For those numbers and how priority tiers work, see pricing and credits — this page covers how you pay, not what you pay per render.
Payment methods
You can fund your balance with:
- Major credit cards, processed through Braintree
- PayPal
- Bank transfer — both US and Vietnam bank accounts are available
Super Renders Farm does not accept cryptocurrency in any form. If you need a payment method that isn't listed here, contact support to check what's possible for your account.
Volume discount
Buy more credit in a single top-up, and Super Renders Farm automatically applies a volume discount — up to 30% off, with no code needed. The discount is applied at checkout the moment you enter a qualifying amount; there's nothing to request, enter, or negotiate separately.
| Credits in a single top-up | Discount | |---|---| | 100 – 499 | 5% | | 500 – 999 | 10% | | 1,000 – 4,999 | 15% | | 5,000 – 9,999 | 20% | | 10,000+ | 30% |
This discount is on the price of the credit you're buying, not a plan and not a change to your per-render rate. Every account, regardless of top-up size, renders at the same $/GHz-hour or $/OctaneBench-hour rate — see pricing and credits for those numbers. A larger top-up simply costs less per credit; it doesn't move you to a different tier of service.
Invoices and receipts
Every top-up triggers an automatic confirmation email — a plain summary with your credit amount, total charged, and order number. It's a receipt of the transaction, not the full invoice, and it doesn't come with a PDF attached.
For the full PDF invoice, go to Account → Payment History and download it from the row for that specific purchase. Every top-up gets its own row, so you can pull exactly the invoice you need instead of searching your inbox.
Need your company name, VAT/tax ID, project reference, or business address on an invoice? Contact support before you make the top-up — custom invoice details are set up on request, and they apply to invoices issued from that point on, not retroactively. The same goes for changing something on an invoice that's already been issued: contact support and the team will sort it out.
Taxes
Super Renders Farm does not charge VAT or sales tax on credit purchases, in any jurisdiction. Whatever the credit price shows at checkout is the full amount charged — no tax line gets added on top, wherever you or your business are based.
If you need your own VAT or tax ID on your invoices, request it via support as described above — once set up, it prints on your invoices going forward as a reference for your own bookkeeping. It doesn't change the amount you're charged, and Super Renders Farm doesn't calculate or advise on tax on your behalf — for anything specific to your jurisdiction, your invoices and the VAT-ID field are there to support your own records, and your own accountant or tax advisor is the right resource for the rest.

FAQ
Q: Do you charge VAT or sales tax? A: No. Super Renders Farm doesn't charge VAT or sales tax on credit purchases, in any jurisdiction — the amount charged is always the credit price shown at checkout. You can still have your own VAT or tax ID added to your invoices for your own records — contact support before your top-up to set it up.
Q: Where do I download my invoices? A: Go to Account → Payment History and download the PDF from the row for the top-up you need. The confirmation email you get after every top-up is a summary only, not the full invoice — the downloadable PDF lives in Payment History.
Q: Can I pay by bank transfer? A: Yes. Bank transfer is supported through both US and Vietnam bank accounts, alongside major credit cards and PayPal. Contact support for the transfer details you'll need for your top-up.
