Global Illumination cache: must calculate Irradiance Map and Light cache before upload to Super Renders

If your project requires GI Cache, you have to calculate your Irradiance Map and Light cache file, then upload them with your project.

 

If you are unsure how to create the Irradiance Map and Light cache file. Below are some tips for you.

Step 1: Enable the GI setting and set it up for yourself.

Step 2: Create the path file Vrlmap/Vrmap and save it to your project.

Save your Vrlmap/Vrmap file

Setup lightcache: choose "From file" and click save

Step 3: Go to V-Ray -> Enable "Don't render final image"

Then click the Render button to create your file Vrlmap/Vrmap.

Step 4: Disable "Don't render final image"

Go to the GI tab and select the path for Vrlmap/Vrmap.

Select Irradiance map mode "From file", then the path vrmap file.

Chose "From file" in the Light cache setting and enter the path to the vrlmap file. mceclip5.png

Finally, save your file and packet all your projects with Vrlmap/Vrmap to Super Renders Farm.
