The Blender Foundation has announced the release of Blender 2.80. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years you’ll probably be aware by now of what this version includes, but here’s a quick list of some of the more salient points just in case. Blender 2.80 was a major overhaul, 3 years in the making, that includes a completely redesigned UI, a new workspace, a modern 3D viewport, EEVEE real-time rendering, new tools and gizmos, major enhancements to grease pencil, updates to Cycles and a whole lot more.
