Digital Archive of Natural History (DiNArDa) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the digitization of natural history collections, particularly insects. To this end, they have a growing library on Sketchfab which are free to download under a CC Attribution license and they have also published the specification for DISC3D. their open-source scanner designed especially for small objects.
