Issue:
After starting up an Autodesk software, the following message window appears and the program becomes unresponsive, requiring ending via the Task Manager.

In some instances the software launches, however a timer is displayed on the top-right. If clicked, the same error dialog is displayed:
Causes:
- Corrupted Windows User profile.
- Missing updates.
- Firewall.
- Bad installation.
- The system does not meet minimum system requirements.
Solution:
Verify the below items, testing the software after each:
- Create a new Windows Admin user profile.
- Check the Autodesk Account from the Software Coordinator if the license is assigned to the User.
- Install the latest updates for Autodesk Single Sign On Component and Autodesk Licensing Service from the Desktop App or Autodesk Account.
- Verify if any firewall is interfering with the below folders and included files:
- C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\
- C:\Program Files\Autodesk\
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared
- C:\Users\**YOUR USERID**\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\
- C:\Users\**YOUR USERID**\AppData\Local\Autodesk\
- Run a Windows repair using the command “sfc /scannow”:
- Open CMD (command) as administrator.
- Type “sfc /scannow”.
- Read the cbs.log and look for DIRSD OWNER WARNING and or Duplicate ownership for the directory.
- If this is found or something similar C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs” is owned twice or has its security set twice go to the next step.
- Right-click on the C: drive, and select Properties option.
- Go to Sharing tab, and click on Advanced sharing. Provide administrator password if prompted.
- Check box Share this folder option, and click on Permissions options.
- Check box Full control under Allow option.
- Click on Apply, and OK.
- Restart the PC and attempt to open Autocad Product.
